Jesper Ovesen is Executive Chairman of the Board of Nokia Siemens Networks.

Jesper is Executive Chairman of the Board of Nokia Siemens Networks. He has a full-time role with a special emphasis on overseeing the strategic direction of Nokia Siemens Networks.
Born in Hjoerring, Denmark, in 1957, Jesper has degrees from Copenhagen Business School and Harvard Business School, and is a certified accountant. Prior to joining Nokia Siemens Networks, he held a number of senior management positions in leading European companies, most recently serving as CFO of Danish telecommunications group TDC during the company’s restructuring process and Initial Public Offering. Jesper has also served as CEO at Kirkbi, CFO at Lego and CFO at Danske Bank. He has extensive experience in finance and M&A activities.
Jesper currently also serves as a Member of the Board of Orkla (since 2010), a Member of the Board of FL Smidt (since 2005) and a Member of the Board of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (since 2004).
