Barry French
Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Nokia Siemens Networks
Executive Board Member
Barry was appointed Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Nokia Siemens Networks at the time the two functions were merged in February 2010. Barry’s responsibility covers marketing, communications, financial and industry analyst relations, corporate security, government relations, regulatory affairs, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, and occupational health and safety. Barry joined Nokia in May 2006 and has been with Nokia Siemens Networks since the start of the company.
Barry has a wide range of communications experience, both as a consultant to governments, corporations and political leaders and in senior positions for Fortune 500 companies, including Dell and United Airlines. Barry studied Political Science at Bates College and received a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Barry is married and has three children and two golden retrievers. He and his family are residents of Windlesham, United Kingdom, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
