Nokia Siemens Networks employs over 500 people in Greece, at three sites in Athens.  As the number one infrastructure supplier in the country, we have an extensive installed base, which is supported by our 125-strong service team. We also have an excellent local research and development presence with 330 people in two Service Core and Applications R&D centers.

We provide services across Greece, Cyprus, Albania and FYROM, covering mobile and fixed networks in the areas of core, access, applications and transport.

Operators face big challenges in Greece, where mobile penetration already is at 130%. Consolidation is a key trend thanks to fierce competition. There are significant growth opportunities, however, and we help our customers make the most of them. For example, broadband is a main growth area, with penetration at only 26%.
