Nokia Siemens Networks employs around 1,800 people in Italy and has offices in Milan, Cinisello Balsamo, Rome and Catania.

The Italian market is very mature, with mobile penetration running at more than 125%. We understand the pressure our customers face from falling prices and we are helping them respond by developing the kind of new services that will generate fresh revenues and keep their costs down by improving operational efficiency.

Our main customers include Telecom Italia, Vodafone, Wind, H3G, Ferrovie dello Stato and Fastweb. We provided the entire 2G and 3G network for Vodafone and supplied the 2G and 3G radio networks for Telecom Italia, together with some core applications based on the Nokia Siemens Networks IMS platform.

Our comprehensive product portfolio of mobile and fixed network infrastructure is complemented by our service offering with 650 service professionals ready to serve our Italian customers.

Consultancy and integrations specialists are located at our offices in Catania while our R&D center is based in Cinisello.
