Biography
Yasushi Ozu is the Head of Japan, Customer Operations at Nokia Siemens Networks and is responsible for overall sales and operation in the country. He is an experienced leader with nearly 25 years of both domestic and international experience in the IT and telecommunications industry. He has a strong track record of ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence, contributing to growing businesses and research development roles.
He joined Nokia in 2006 and was instrumental in building good relations with the customers, setting up strong teams and substantially increasing the sales volume for Nokia Networks Japan. He also created a fundamental base in supporting the transformation of Nokia Siemens Networks Japan.
Formerly, he was based in the United States for several years and held executive positions in R&D and Marketing for projects involving major operators in the country. His portfolio included management roles in the IT and Mobile Switching and Core Networks business.
Yasushi worked for several Japanese and American IT companies before joining Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the Hokkaido National University in Japan. In his spare time, Yasushi enjoys riding bicycle including road racing with the colleagues from the employee’s cycling club in Japan.
