Igor Leprince is the newly appointed head of the Middle East & Africa region at Nokia Siemens Networks. He is a highly skilful and energetic leader with over 20 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry. In his impressive career, Igor has demonstrated keen business acumen coupled with excellent negotiation and management skills.

In his current role, Igor is responsible for all sales and operations of Nokia Siemens Networks across the Middle East & Africa region. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Middle East region where he spearheaded the introduction and deployment of Mobile Broadband (3G/LTE) with the region’s leading telecommunication operators.
Before this Igor was the Head of Care, Global Services. Igor joined the company in September 2007 as the Head of Network and Service Optimization in Consulting and Systems Integration.

He has been committed towards driving for growth by executing the company’s strategy coupled with a focused approach towards addressing the customers’ requirements. During his tenure, Network Planning and Optimization (NPO) grew by more than 30percent for two years in succession from 2008. As a result, Network planning and Optimization proved to be a key differentiator for the services business and the company on the whole.

Prior to joining Nokia Siemens Networks, Igor served as the Managing Director and Vice - President Operations, for Wireless Facilities International, (WFI) a public America-based wireless services company from 2001 to 2007. He was responsible for overall strategy, business development, and project execution for WFI services in the EMEA region.

Before this stint, Igor held various management roles for telecom operators in France, Ireland, Switzerland and Bolivia.

Born in 1971 in France, Igor holds a B.Sc (Hons) and an M.Sc degree in Computer Science and Systems and Networks from University Paris 7, France. Moreover, he has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineering from E.N.S.T. Paris, France. In his spare time, he likes to play tennis, golf, football and also enjoys wakeboarding. Igor is married with three children and is based in Dubai, UAE.
