Biography
Ricky is a dynamic leader with more than 20 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry. He is known for his commitment to customer satisfaction and team achievements.
Ricky is passionate about the telecommunications industry and is motivated to establish Nokia Siemens Networks as a leading technology partner in the North America region.
Prior to taking the North America role, Ricky served as the Head of the APAC region at Nokia Siemens Networks, helping the company gain market share in many key markets including Japan and Indonesia. He was also instrumental in opening up new markets in South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangladesh.
Ricky has an extensive list of achievements with Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks in his 18 year career, during which he held senior sales and marketing positions in Australasia, Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific
His former roles included being the Head of Sales for APAC, Head of Hutchison Global Customer Business, Area Vice President of APAC at Nokia Siemens Networks, Commercial and Sales director for the Global Customer Teams of Vodafone and British Telecom.
Ricky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronic Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. He is married with four children. In his spare time, Ricky is an avid golfer and likes sports and photography.
