The Channel Partner Conference in Helsinki, Finland, offered great networking opportunities. Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights.
“When we play the same tune with our partners, we can achieve more”; a musical theme that underlines the spirit of true co-operation and collaboration that defines Nokia Siemens Networks robust relationship with its channel partners. We are played the same tune, leading to the business level where we are today, strong growth in the indirect channel. As an annual tribute to this ever-evolving partnership, this year’s edition of Nokia Siemens Networks' Channel Partner Conference took place in Helsinki, Finland between the 7th and the 9th of June. Three days of bright sunshine, with temperatures hovering in the range of 25 degrees, welcomed 129 people to this event. In fact, the guest list included 67 partners from 43 different companies spread across 38 nations; making the conference a global success in the true sense of the word!
In line with our tradition to centralize the event around a musical theme, this year was all about creating a 'Nordic rhapsody'- a variety of compositions for a supreme performance leading to growth.
All in all, a wide range of topics on latest news and events formed the backdrop of this interactive session with our partners. The first couple of days saw a lot of action, including topical presentations and best practice sharing sessions conducted both by our partners as well as a discussion panel. Delegates were treated to an engaging and interactive showcase of our solution expertise covering Live FDD LTE Radio, Smart Grid, Connection Master, Optical Networks, FlexiPacket MultiRadio and Carrier Ethernet live demonstration! The last day was dedicated to enabling sessions.
“The feedback from all the participants was extremely positive and encouraging. The conference this year was the best ever,” said Poul Lynghoj, head of Indirect Channel, Nokia Siemens Networks.
Needless to say, the entire exercise received an overwhelming response from the attendees. Here’s what we got to hear from some of our distinguished guests:
“It was, in every sense, an extremely useful conference,” said Anthony Crane, Magdalene UK. “The substance of the information presented and the positive news on portfolio development was encouraging. The variety and high calibre of speakers kept us engaged. The practical demonstrations illustrated the technology well."
“The open discussion and transparency of information flow deserves a lot of appreciation, as always,” commented Shriprakash Pandey, Commtel Networks, India.
Summing it up Poul Lynghoj declared: ”We are proud to say that out of a maximum of 5 points, the overall score this year was 4.29. The team has certainly lived up to the expectations and I’m expecting to achieve the growth targets we have set. We set up a strong commitment with all the partners."
Undoubtedly, Nokia Siemens Networks relationship with its Channel Partners continues to be stronger than ever before; the literal “eyes” and “ears” of our business as we continue to march towards Market Leadership!
And the winner is…
Carrying on with tradition, this year’s edition of the Sales Challenge cup was yet again hosted by the Channel Partner Conference. The competition was won by Pario Solutions, Inc., a US-based organization; a momentous occasion indeed considering the fact that it was the first time that the cup docked in the Americas!
While giving away the award, Poul Lynghoj, Head of Indirect Channel, congratulated Pario for the business result achieved as well as the best-in-class support provided to customers.
He said: “It gives me immense pleasure to present this honor to Pario Solutions. In fact, Pario has achieved the highest growth in absolute figures, with a 118% increase in overall sales (in comparison with 2009). This is a real achievement! I wish that they will continue their steady growth path in the days to come.”
“We are extremely pleased to have received the Sales Challenge Cup award, as well as recognition by Nokia Siemens Networks as a leading partner in the Channel program”, said James O’Reilly, Executive VP, Pario Solutions. “We owe this success to the strong relationship that we share with the Nokia Siemens Networks North America Channel team, as well as our commitment to continually invest in Pario’s sales and engineering departments. This strategy has enabled the company to find the best solutions for our customers and increase revenues. We look forward to many more success stories as a channel partner with Nokia Siemens Networks.”
