Mobile Backhaul

By migrating Mobile Backhaul from legacy to IP, service providers take advantage of lower OPEX to meet challenges in the shift from voice to data traffic in mobile networks.

We use multiple technologies to transport voice and data traffic in our Mobile Backhaul solution. Because it’s crucial that domains and network layers work together appropriately, we have aligned and tested Cisco’s MWR 2941, 7600 and ASR 9000 Series with microwave and transport equipment. This means we can deliver a proven and reliable end-to-end solution for IP RAN. Read more

Mobile Site Connectivity

When you migrate your traffic to IP, you need to ensure services run smoothly. Our Mobile Site Connectivity service interconnects equipment on mobile sites and aggregates IP traffic towards the backbone. Mobile Site Connectivity supports 2G, 3G and LTE and can be based on Cisco’s 7600 or ASR 9000 Series equipment.

Multiservice IP Backbone

To provide a superior end-user experience, IP backbones need to be resilient and support Quality of Service (QoS). Multi-service IP Backbone is an IP/MPLS based solution consolidating traffic from fixed and mobile access and aggregation networks. The solution can be based on Cisco’s 7600, ASR 1000 and ASR 9000 Series for the edge and 12000 and CRS Series for the core.

Through our alliance partnership with Cisco, we are able to design and deliver highly available multi-service IP backbones by combining our system integration strengths with a strong global service portfolio. Read more

LTE Transport Security

Our LTE Transport Security solution extends the standard 4G transport solution with Cisco Wireless Security Gateway (WSG) to the latest VPN technology for state-of-the-art protection against the threats of a flat IP architecture. In a LTE deployment, the Cisco WSG uses IP Security (IPsec) to secure the connection between your core network and eNodeB (LTE base station).

We ensure end-to-end alignment between a Cisco-based Security Gateway, our Base Stations and a selected third-party Certificate Authority. The solution can be extended towards i-HSAP and 2G and supports migration paths towards IPv6 incl. IPsec-Tunnels. This well-developed, field-proven solution offers end-to-end transport security with 3GPP-approved standards. Read more

Mobile and Evolved Packet Core Security

Our Packet Core Security solution extends the standard, unsecured core solution to include the latest security technologies and state-of-the-art protection. The partnership with Cisco gives us the opportunity to design and deliver highly available and secure core networks by combining our system integration strengths with a strong Cisco security portfolio.

Cisco’s Advanced Security Appliance (ASA), provides the security functions a service provider need, while we ensure end-to-end alignment for development, testing and go-to-market between Cisco-based firewalls and our core elements. Read more
