Nokia Siemens Networks hosted the 4th annual Marketing Forum in Helsinki’s summer sun, June 8-10, 2010. The event attracted marketing professionals from Communication Service Providers and was hosted by Frederic Astier, Nokia Siemens Networks global head of marketing communications.

The goal of the event was to share latest insights and ideas, to set new trends and network with colleagues as discussions range from best practice, customer service, emerging markets and social media.

Presentations came from TeliaSonera Sweden, du Dubai, Yahoo! , Nokia, and Nokia Siemens Networks, as well as experts from customer experience, advertising and social media, all contributing to an exciting program which also included a lively panel discussion.

The following day, workshops about smartphones and networks, or social media, as well as visitor tours at the new Solution Experience Center gave further depth to the Marketing Forum topics.

„This was a great opportunity to debate views and to discuss some of the latest thinking across the value chain of our industry. We heard views from operators, vendors, representatives of customers and other industries that are converging with the telco world. A very useful investment of time, an opportunity to pause, think and review some fresh ideas away from the everyday hard work in the office. I made some great contacts, in new areas and have already followed up with them, hence as one of the objectives being an opportunity for networking, this was a great success.
