International forum of fixed-line and mobile operators

Telecom 2010 provides information about the main trends in the contemporary telecommunications market. Amongst the covered topics are convergence, the merger of wireless and fixed-line operators, the switch to IP technologies, and LTE. Operators’ interaction with content providers, use of frequencies and the regulation of new-type communication networks will be covered from a legislative perspective.

The forum will discuss the relationship – competition or interaction - between wireless and fixed-line access providers. It will shed light on the advantages, drawbacks and perspectives of various broadband access technologies and highlight the monetization of third-party content.
