Mobile Network Optimisation 2011
2-3 November 2011
Mobile operators are facing the difficultly in the exponential growth in mobile data consumption which has undoubtedly been fuelled by the huge surge in smartphone use. Customers are demanding more and more bandwidth to run interactive services and the data growth is outstripping mobile network capacity. Moreover, the cost of data services for consumers remains highly competitive, thus driving prices down, whilst the cost of a new network only continues to rise. Therefore, operators are having to look at all types of optimisation to make their network more efficient, in terms of making the running costs of the network lower as well as being able to find more capacity.
IIR’s Mobile Network Optimisation offers delegates the unique opportunity to network with and learn from experts in the field of network optimisation and planning of new and successful MNO strategies. As well as the mobile RAN, the 2011 event will focus on the evolution towards mobile broadband and cover HSPA+, LTE and 4G along with tools and techniques for minimising the mobile data crunch and mobile backhaul bottleneck.
