Biography
Armando Almeida is the Regional Head for Nokia Siemens Networks in Latin America since April the 1st of 2007. In his role, he is responsible of the day-to-day operations of LAT NSN.
Prior to joining Nokia Siemens Networks, he was responsible for Hewlett Packard’s inside sales organization on the United States. Before that, he was responsible for Compaq’s Southern Business Group Sales and Services for Latin America.
Almeida was born on February 16th on 1961 in Mozambique, Africa. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. He is a Portuguese citizen, and has lived in four continents. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
He is married with 5 children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies and practice sports such as tennis, swimming, cycling and running.
