Faithful mobile users test network limits in Mecca

When pilgrims gather in Mecca for the Hajj, they make 450 million calls and send one billion SMS messages in just one week. Bandar Al Qafari, GM, Networks Implementation at Saudi Telecom Company (STC), explains what the company is doing to successfully accommodate these yearly traffic spikes.
