Biography
Bosco Novak leads Global Services at Nokia Siemens Networks and is responsible for portfolio, strategy, product management and global delivery for the business unit. He also leads the Quality organization globally. Previously, Bosco served as the head of Customer Operations and handled customer engagement.
With more than two decades of international experience, Bosco is a results-oriented leader, who is passionate about the telecommunications industry and believes in its tremendous potential to transform lives.
Bosco has a ‘hands-on’ management style and is a firm believer in creating a strong team spirit to seize opportunities and overcome challenges.
Connecting with customers and colleagues at a personal level, he is committed to ensuring superior customer experience. Bosco’s first role at Nokia Siemens Networks, following the creation of the company in 2007 was to head Human Resources function. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the successful integration of the company. Moreover, he led the development of new company values and the deployment of globally-integrated people processes.
Before the creation of Nokia Siemens Networks, Bosco held several senior positions at Nokia Networks, including Vice President of Strategy and Quality and Senior Vice President for Global Services, a business which started under his leadership in 2005. He began his career with Nokia in 2000 and held a number of regional management roles within the company.
Prior to joining Nokia, Bosco spent eight years with Ericsson, holding several sales and services positions.
Born in 1960, in Münster, Germany, Bosco holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the ‘Bundeswehr’ University in Munich, Germany. He lives in Munich and is married with three grown-up children. Bosco and his wife are keen ballroom dancers, a hobby that takes them to championships and competitions around the world.
