Biography

Joyce has spent much of her career advising IT and telecommunications companies on legal, governance and compliance topics. She joined Nokia Siemens Networks in August 2010 from Hewlett-Packard, where she spent thirteen years of her career working mainly in the U.S. and Europe. She held positions including the role of regional general counsel for Hewlett-Packard’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Joyce played a key role in Hewlett-Packard’s merger with Compaq as well as the EDS acquisition, working on pre-merger planning and post-merger implementation on both occasions.

Joyce started her career as a prosecutor with the Office of the District Attorney in New York, went on to work in commercial litigation, and then became an advisor to Pacific Bell’s telecommunications companies. She holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, and earned a B.A. in Chemistry from Rosemont College.

Joyce is a U.S. citizen. In her spare time, she enjoys following baseball and American football and traveling. She and her partner have two daughters.
