Joe Doering
Head of North East Region, Nokia Siemens Networks
In his current role as Head of North East Region, Joe Doering is responsible for managing Nokia Siemens Networks business in the region consisting of the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries, Russia, Turkey and the countries in East and Central Asia.
Prior to his current role, he held a number of leadership positions in emerging markets in Southeast Asia and USA as well as in Europe across carrier and enterprise businesses. Until January, 2009, he was heading the South Asia business of Nokia Siemens Networks. He joined Siemens in 1989.
Joe studied International Business at Haas Business School, University of California, Berkeley, USA and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.
He is a co-founder of the Centers for Change and Knowledge Management at the TU Berlin and Multimedia University Kuala Lumpur. He is an invitee and active member of the World Economic Forum in support of developing new economies and stimulating growth for emerging countries.
Joe is based in Moscow, Russia.
