Nokia Siemens Networks provides full turnkey services to build complete mobile network

SmarTone subscribers in Macau will soon enjoy unprecedented mobile multimedia and broadband experience. It has awarded a five year contract to Nokia Siemens Networks, making it the sole network solution provider to SmarTone in Macau.

The solution from Nokia Siemens Networks is based on its market-leading Flexi Base Station and mobile softswitching and packet core solutions. The Flexi Base Station not only introduces a very flexible and modular concept to mobile access, but also allows significant savings in terms of required space and power consumption. Nokia Siemens Networks’ core and radio network solutions will ensure unparalleled radio performance, superior coverage for wide and hot spot areas, not to mention a smooth migration to the next generation technology of mobile networks.
