Flexi Multiradio BTS is the most compact, software-defined base station for three technologies - GSM/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA+, and LTE (FDD/TDD).
It enables you to use sites more efficiently and operates with the lowest number of sites needed for coverage and capacity. Flexi Multiradio BTS’ compact size and weight is only 20% of a conventional cabinet base station and its power consumption is up to 70% lower. Installation time and materials costs in comparison to a conventional cabinet BTS can be reduced up to 25%.
It is the only macro BTS in the market that can build outdoor sites without a cabinet and indoor module fits into any standard 19” cabinet.
In Internet-HSPA, Radio Network Controller (RNC) functionality is moved into our Flexi Base Transceiver Station (BTS), allowing for a unique RNC-less architecture.
