We are driving the further evolution of HSPA+. The HSPA+ Multiflow demonstration at MWC 2012 uses Nokia Siemens Networks’ commercial Single RAN equipment (Flexi Multiradio Base Station and Multicontroller RNC, and Qualcomm Prototype Multi-Flow Mobile Terminals. In addition to HSPA+ Multiflow, the companies have earlier demonstrated an HSPA+ data call with peak throughput of 336 Mbps at PT Expo Comm in Beijing, China, in September 2011.

Three Nokia Siemens Networks Liquid Radio WCDMA Software Suite capabilities help alleviate excessive smartphone-generated signaling, resulting in increased network capacity, lower costs for operators and a great customer experience. The features are Fast Dormancy Profiling, Fast Cell PCH Switching and High Speed Cell FACH.
Already enriched with powerful capabilities like High Speed Cell FACH Interference Cancellation (IC), 4-Way RX Diversity, Mass Event Handler (MEH), in addition to Continuous Packet Connectivity (CPC), Multi Band Load Balancing (MBLB) and QoS differentiation, the Suite is a straightforward way to further boost existing WCDMA networks performance and capacity.
